Suphi is a senior partner at Al Yahyaei & Salt in Oman. He has extensive legal experience across
wide range of business sectors,
including banking, finance and insurance practice. He has been practicing law in the United Arab
Emirates since 1980 and currently has the right of audience before the Supreme Court of Oman.
Mr. Subhi is highly experienced in a variety of legal practice areas, particularly those
pertaining
to corporate - commercial law matters. Mr. Salt is also an accredited arbitrator at the
Arbitration
and Conciliation Centre of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and with the
International
Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce. He is fluent in English, Arabic
and Turkish.
Mohammed is a managing partner at Al Yahyaei & Salt Law Firm. He specializes in both commercial
law and employment law. He
has completed his law studies at the Sultan Qaboos Academy in Nazwa. Prior to establishing his
law practice Mohamed worked for the Sultanate of Oman Police. No one in the whole of the
Sultanate
of Oman can navigate through the intricacies of the legal system of Oman better than Mohamed.
Mr. Al Yahyaei holds a Master of Law, L.L.M degree, in commercial law from the University of
Sultan Qaboos. He is a fluent speaker and delivers lectures in law.
Mr. Mohammed, a Canadian national, and a partner at Baitulhikma Law firm. Mohammed was awarded a
degree in law from the University
of Manchester and completed his legal practice course at Manchester Metropolitan University.
He is admitted to the Practice of Law in the State of New York. Mohamed acts as the chief
liaison
officer for Al Yahyaei & Salt’s international clients and heads the firm’s business development
department. He specializes in mergers, acquisitions and company formation within the United Arab
Emirates and the various free zones therein as well as Oman. Prior to joining Baitulhikma Law
Firm, Mohammed worked as a legal counsel for a leading media company in Abu Dhabi. Ahmed’s prior
experience includes working, for three years, at an international law firm in Dubai
International
Financial Center. Mohammed is fluent in English, Turkish and French.
Doctor Ali Gouda is admitted to the practice of law in New York State, the USA. Dr. Ali Gouda
graduated with honor degree
from the University of Khartoum and obtained his master and Ph.D., from the USA. His Ph.D., was
awarded “with distinction.” He has worked in New York for more than six years in the Eastern
and Southern District of New York as well as the State Court. He focuses on corporate matters,
commercial disputes, securities laws, international trade, drafting of complex legal documents,
telecom industry and Arbitration practice. He represented high profile clients in Arbitration
proceedings in Abu Dhabi and has advised several arbitration panels on proceedings in the Abu
Dhabi Commercial Arbitration Center. He speaks Arabic and English.
Mr. Anwar graduated from Omdurman University-Sudan in 1995. He completed his legal training at a
leading local law firm in
the Sudan in 1996 before setting up his private practice in 1997. Anwar has a vast experience
in civil practice: commercial law, Sharia’ law, criminal law, labor and administrative disputes
and insurance. He specializes in the employment and labor law in addition to the general
corporate
law in Oman. Anwar speaks English and Arabic.
Ali completed his law studies at the College of Law, the University of Sultan Qaboos in 2011.
Ali is a litigator with rights
of audience before the primary courts of Oman. He is based at the Firm’s Salalah office in
Dhofar
and is widely regarded as one of the best young attorneys in Dhofar. He focuses in commercial
law and employment and labor law litigations.
Doctor Saleh is an assistant professor of law at the college of law, University of Sultan Qaboos
and an attorney with the
right of audience before the appellate court of Oman. He obtained his master and a Ph.D., degree
from the United Kingdom. He is an eminent legal scholar with several legal articles published
in leading law reviews and a practitioner in the areas of international trade law, commercial
law, banking law and commercial papers. He teaches commercial law, IP and Banking laws. Dr. Al
Brashdi is fluent English speaker.
Mrs. Lal graduated from the Indian Law Society’s (ILS) Law College, Pune with a B.S.L LL.B.,
multidisciplinary degree (Bachelor
of Socio-Legal Science and Bachelor of Laws). Mrs. Lal also holds a diploma in Intellectual
Property
Laws and Corporate Law from Symbiosis Law School, Pune and Asian School of Cyber Laws
respectively.
Before taking employment with Al Yahyaei and Salt Mrs. Lal worked as an associate in contract
management and abstraction projects in the startup firm Sirion- Labs Pvt. Ltd. in New Delhi.
Her previous experience also includes tenure, as an associate, at the Indian IT giant Infosys
Pvt. Ltd., Pune in its Legal process outsourcing division.
Ms. Suha, a Jordanian, multidisciplinary legal counsel at Al Yahyaei & Salt. She holds a degree
in business management from
the Lebanese University. In addition to her multidisciplinary talent she has a diversified legal
knowledge and experience; she holds an LLM degree in intellectual property law; and is currently
pursuing a Ph.D. in international corporate governance in a leading Canadian university. Ms.
Suha worked as a professor of law at the Lebanese University for more than four years. As a
legal
counsel she has more than (12) years of experience in corporate law and contract. She focuses
on drafting contracts in both English and Arabic.
Ms. Widdad is an attorney at Al Yahyaei & Salt Law Firm. Her areas of focus are commercial law,
employment and labor law
and the civil law. Ms. Al Hadrahmi studied law at the College of Law, University of Sultan
Qaboos
and graduated in 2012. Widdad is speaks English and Arabic. Currently Widdad is responsible of
the firm’s collection and enforcement division.
Ahmed, an Omani attorney with a right of audience before the Omani Courts; He worked as an
attorney for the ministry of defense
for more than twenty years. He has vast experience in Civil and Commercial litigation. Ahmed
manages the Firm’s Sohar Office.
Ms. Al Farsi is a newly admitted attorney, with Al Yahyaei and Salt. She graduated from the
University of Sultan Qaboos.
Ms. Al Farsi’s areas of interest are civil and commercial litigation. She is enthusiastic and
